Simnuke Project

On July 16th I carted my cello out to the desert to play at Simnuke, a simulation of a nuclear blast held to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Trinity test. Read more about it at NPR and see images and video at the Simnuke site, www.simnuke.org.

This album contains photographs, soundfiles and a video from a performance on January 21st. The second half of the evening was the premier of a multimedia piece entitled "Night Music", a collaborative project between myself, animator/projectionist Jeffrey Rusch and painter Yvette Molina.
